Part B — Preliminary, and the Tribunal’s own powers
Rule 9. Working hours of office
Chapter II · Powers and Functions
9.1 The rule
The administrative offices of the Appellate Tribunal shall remain open on all working days from 9:30 am to 6.00 pm, subject to any order made by the President.
9.2 What it does
Rule 9 fixes the Registry's day — an hour before the Bench sits and an hour and a half after it ordinarily rises. It matters to a practitioner for one reason above all others: the daily cause list must be published before these hours close, so tomorrow's list is up by 6.00 p.m. today.
