Rule 25. Registration of admitted appeals
Chapter III · Institution of appeals — Procedure
25.1 The rule
On admission of appeal, the same shall be numbered and registered in the appropriate register maintained in this behalf and its number shall be entered therein (Index to be modified accordingly).
25.2 What it does
Rule 25 is the moment an appeal acquires the identity it will carry for the rest of its life. On admission it is numbered, entered in the register kept for the purpose, and the index is brought into line.
