About this book

Part F — Record, registers, files and retention

Rule 64. File for miscellaneous applications

Chapter VII · Maintenance of Registers

64.1 The rule

For all miscellaneous applications there may be only one file with a title page prefixed to it and immediately after the title page, the diary, the miscellaneous applications, supporting affidavit, the order sheet and all other documents shall be filed.

64.2 What it does

Rule 64 completes the four-part division of the record made by r.60 by fixing how the second part is built. Its governing idea is consolidation: one file per case for every miscellaneous application made in it, not a fresh file for each application, assembled in a prescribed order behind a title page.
