Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last Updated: August 2026 | Applies to: taxcorp.in
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to purchases made online at taxcorp.in, operated by TaxCorp Total Solution, B-306, Darshanam Oxy Park, Vasna Bhayli Road, Vadodara, Gujarat, India.
| Product | How it is sold | Term |
|---|---|---|
| E-books (e.g. GSTAT Law and Procedure) | Paid online by card, UPI or net banking | 12-month licence per title |
| Research subscriptions (Direct Tax, GST, Company Law and other modules) | Arranged directly with us — please contact us. These are not purchased through the website's online checkout. | As agreed in writing |
2. Digital delivery means no change-of-mind refunds
This is because the entire work is made available to you at once. A downloaded PDF cannot be returned, and there is no partial or pro-rated refund for a licence you have stopped using, for material you did not read, or because you changed your mind.
This is consistent with §3.3 of our Terms of Service.
So that you can decide before paying: a substantial part of every title is readable free of charge and without registering. For GSTAT Law and Procedure, the complete table of contents and two full chapters are open at taxcorp.in/gstat. Please read them first.
3. When we do refund
We will refund you in full, without argument, in any of these cases:
- You were charged more than once for the same title — for example a payment page was submitted twice. We refund every duplicate.
- Your money was taken but access was never granted and we cannot put it right. In practice access is automatic; if something has gone wrong we would normally rather fix it than refund it, but the choice is yours.
- You were charged for a title you already had — for instance the title was already included in a subscription you hold.
- The payment was not authorised by you. Tell us at once and we will refund it and secure the account.
If a purchase went badly wrong for a reason not listed above, write to us anyway and tell us what happened. We would rather hear from you than not.
4. How to ask for a refund
Email thetaxcorp@gmail.com or call 8460045459 within 7 days of the payment, and include:
- the registered email address or username on the account;
- the date and amount of the payment;
- the payment reference from your bank statement or from the confirmation screen, if you have it; and
- what went wrong.
The payment reference is the quickest way for us to find your transaction, but do not delay writing to us because you cannot find it.
5. How long a refund takes
- We will acknowledge your request within 2 working days.
- Where a refund is due, we will approve and initiate it within 7 working days of accepting the request.
- The refund goes back to the same card, UPI ID or bank account the payment came from. We cannot send it anywhere else.
- Your bank or card issuer then takes its own time to show the credit — usually 5 to 10 working days. That part is outside our control.
Access to the refunded title ends when the refund is issued.
6. Cancellation
An e-book licence is a single payment for a fixed term of 12 months. There is no standing instruction, no auto-debit mandate and no recurring charge — so there is nothing to cancel. When the term ends, access simply stops unless you choose to buy it again.
Research subscriptions are arranged with us directly and run for the term agreed in writing; to discuss or end one, please contact us.
